This video is about Marine Industry Softwares and Products from AVEVA which is now available in the Market.

For plant engineering they have a flag ship product of PDMS. PDMS is a Plant Design Management Software which is used in most of the Olean Gas and Process industry. They cover about 80 percent offshore markets.

They have a marine industry product called Tribon. Tribon is used in most of the shipyards across the world. Aveva bought the company Tribon about 4 years back, so now it is more called Aveva Marine Platform.

Tribon has three design stages – one is initial design, where you create a shape of the entire ship, the hull where you create the entire hull part and make it as a proper ship and the outfitting where a lot of features are added-on. Larger firms like Cochin Shipyard, HSL Shipyard etc. now use this software. They have developed a new technology also know as AVEVA Nut, which transfers design from owner operator. Owner operator can easily use this product and excess their entire data for plant it may be old or new.

From initial design and specification, through 3D engineering layout to procurement, materials management and project control, Avevas software combines technical excellence with excellent data integrity.

The company offers the products and services like: Aveva NET, Initial Design, Hull Structural Design, Hull Detailed Design, Marine Diagrams, P&ID 3D Integrator, Outfitting, Multi-Discipline Supports, Cable Design, Room Design, Laser Model Interface, Pipe Stress Interface, Clash drafting, Assembly Planning, Hull Weld Planning, Aveva Global and Aveva Review.
The Aveva Marine Database provides tools for synchronization across all disciplines, stages and designs. In the higher area, it allows the structural designers and detail designers to work in parallel and have their different views of the models synchronized during design development.

In the outfitting area, database provides more accurate design by the consolidation of P & IDs into a single schematic model of the vessel which can be used to build and compare with the 3 D model. The well integrated hull and outfitting applications on the common database ensure a clash free design. Automatic accurate production information for past manufacture ensures that all parts are correctly manufactured and fit first time in assembling.

Aveva marine is truly global built around a single project database and optimized to enable concurrent multi discipline design. With Aveva Marine, many designers can work simultaneously in a project in multiple locations around the world.

Comprehensive synchronization capabilities are configurable with the nature of the project life cycle. They have a low demand on the bandwidth, makes the company only choice for efficient global design. Web-based project collaboration, information sharing allows mark up and communicating of project data between different project members.

At the point of vessel hand-over and commissioning, operators have efficient controlled access to project data. During the vessels working life, project data can also be used to minimize the downtime of maintenance and refitting. And when the Bessel will reach the end of its working, Aveva marine allows you to plan and execute safe and efficeitn de commissioning.

The lifecycle of a typical ship floating offshore project is at lat 25 years. In 40 years of pioneering engineering IT development in the plant and now in marine industries, Aveva continues its progression philosophy with wide customers and real benefits through the life cycles in their projects.

Over the last ten years, AVEVA technology has been used to design over 80% of the largest production facilities in the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. To date, AVEVA solutions are implemented by 85% of the world’s top 20 ship builders and 27 out of 30 of the world’s top-quoted chemical companies. AVEVA software is also subscribed by 80% of Class- A certified Chinese Electrical Power Design Institutes.
